Through the following three areas of focus, PROMOS intends to promote the Italian-Austrian biomedical ecosystem and the creation of new biomedical SMEs through a cross-border technology transfer from the academic world to the market and the clinic:

• Establishing collaboration between academic institutions and industry and comparing regulations in the two states to facilitate the implementation of innovative solutions and the exchange of best practices.
• A training program designed to help researchers translate their results into real products and strengthen the culture of technology transfer in research centers.
• A cross-border alliance between SMEs, innovation clusters, academic institutions and research institutes to increase the use of results.
