In the Interreg Promos project, international research institutions are working closely together to translate innovative biomedical technologies from basic research into concrete, applicable solutions. A central focus is on technology transfer, which enables new scientific findings to be translated into scalable tools, models, and processes—with direct relevance for drug development and the understanding of human heart disease.
The following two technology transfer cases (TT cases) illustrate how multidisciplinary expertise, modern AI methods, and novel in vitro models are being used to take biomedical research to the next level.
Technology transfer 2: Development of human bioartificial heart tissue
